6 tips on how to write a successful cv
Soar Recruitment

We all want to stand out from the crowd right?
To do that you must create a kickass CV to help you get the job you want and here is how!
1. Check your spellings!
We can't stress enough how important it is to check your spellings. The smallest spelling mistake can cost you a new job!
2. Don't put any personal information
It's fine to put your name, the town you live in and contact details but please don't put your NI number, date of birth and any other personal information. This will put you at risk of fraud!
3. Tailor it
By creating a CV tailored to the role you are looking for you are more likely to be spotted by recruiters/businesses who are searching to fill the position. Research the company and use the job advert to work out EXACTLY what skills you should point out to them.

4. Key Words
Using keywords such as "nursery practitioner" or "EYFS" will help when recruiters are looking for your CV. Job titles and job buzzwords will help a search engine pick out your CV from the pile.
5. Format
The format of your CV is very important. Make sure things like your name, job titles, dates, and responsibilities are clearly laid out so it's easy for people to read.
6. Keep it up to date
You should keep your CV up-to-date whether you’re looking for a job or not. Every time something significant occurs in your career, record it so you don’t later forget something that could be important.
