We are currently recruiting a Deputy Nursery Manager for a unique nursery in Brentford. Our client is looking for an inspiring individual to be their deputy manager, who is creative and passionate in teaching and has a strong team spirit to be able to support others in the team in realising their potential in teaching and caring for children.

The nursery is looking to appoint an experienced Deputy Nursery Manager to start as soon as possible, on a full-time and permanent basis. They would ideally like to interview suitable candidates as soon as possible.
As a Deputy Nursery Manager you will:

Have previous experience working with children aged 0-8 years.
Be passionate about working with people of all ages, and have a natural flair for making people feel happy and at ease, bringing energy and enthusiasm.
Be interested in creating & fostering inspiring and fun work and play environments.
Think outside the box beyond the restrictions of the EYFS framework with a can-do attitude and a solution-driven approach to problems.
Be a natural leader who can inspire and motivate a dynamic creative Early years team.
Be interested in facilitating age-appropriate risky play, alternative teaching practices and fostering independence within children
Have sound knowledge of, and the ability to work with, computerised systems, including the management of the system Connect Childcare
Display excellent management of compliance, health & safety, risk management, and internal policies implementing practices that will drive continual improvement.
Confidently liaises with parents from the initial showground until the last day the little people are with us. being a calm person at emotional times.
Work closely with the Marketing Department to raise the profile of Company and make sure our nursery is always filled to capacity with little people and carry out all duties relating to this process
Have relevant Early childhood qualifications, and have worked in a similar role previously
The nursery is looking to pay a salary of up to £29,000 (depending on experience).
As a Deputy Nursery Manager you will have:
Hold a Level 3 qualification in childcare / early years
Have a great working knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Scheme
Have a minimum of 3 years experience as a Deputy Nursery Manager or Third in Charge
Have a good understanding of Connect Childcare or similar Nursery management software
You will ideally come from an Ofsted Outstanding setting
