Early Years Educator

Paying up to £25,000pa

Location: Maida Vale

We are very excited to be recruiting nursery practitioners to work full-time in our client's newly refurbished nursery in Maida Vale, where you will be valued and appreciated for your hard work.

In return, you should be able to demonstrate the following:

• Make sure that the children's safety is a priority at all times.

• Provide high-quality, flexible childcare for families from the local community.

• Establish positive working relationships at all levels, collaborating with parents and other staff members.

• Be approachable, friendly, and able to communicate effectively at all times.

• Have a willingness to continue with training and continuous professional development.

• Be able to delegate roles and responsibilities to other staff, be well organised and ensure the role play area is fun and creative at all time.

Requirements:

• NNEB, CACHE Level 2/3 or NVQ Level 2/3 qualification in childcare.

• Experience of working with children 0-5 years.

• A good understanding and knowledge of the EYFS.

• Knowledge and understanding of equal opportunities.

• Be responsible, patient, approachable, and caring.

• Have an interest in child development and a passion for childcare.

• Good communication skills.

• Work well in a team as well as independently.

• Ability to observe, assess and report the child’s behaviour.
