Find Rewarding Roles with Private Families in the UK and Overseas

Being a nanny is more than just a job - it’s a chance to become a trusted part of a child’s life and a valued support to a family. Whether you're supporting a baby’s development, creating imaginative play for toddlers, or helping school-aged children with routines and learning, your role brings care, comfort, and consistency.

At SOAR, we work with incredible private families across the UK and internationally, placing experienced and passionate nannies into roles where they can thrive. Whether you’re looking for a live-in position, part-time hours, or an international adventure, we’re here to help you find a role that suits your lifestyle and values.

Life as a Nanny & What to Expect

Life as a nanny is full of variety, warmth, and purpose. One day you might be building pillow forts and playing games, the next you’re helping with homework or prepping healthy meals. You become part of a family’s world - someone they rely on, trust, and value deeply.

Some families may need a helping hand during busy periods like holidays or travel, while others may want support with routines or sleep schedules. No matter the setup, your role as a nanny brings stability, care, and a lasting impact to the children and families you support.

Our international placements include:

  • Advice on visas, travel arrangements, and legal requirements.
